A few steps between your shelf and someone else's hands.
Add books from your shelf with title, author, and language. They appear in the catalog for other members to browse.
Another reader sends you a borrow request with an optional message. You decide who borrows your book — approve and they get your contact details to arrange pickup.
When the book comes back, mark it as returned and it becomes available again. Keep your shelf circulating and your community reading.

Chytajka is built on trust between readers. We are not responsible for books that are not returned — you decide who you lend to and take that responsibility yourself. We recommend lending to people you feel comfortable with.

Chytajka is a platform for connecting people who have books with people who want to read them — nothing more. We are not responsible for the physical transfer of books, their condition during or after the lending period, or any arrangements made between borrowers and lenders. All exchanges happen directly between members, and both parties take on that responsibility themselves.
Please treat borrowed books with care, as if they were your own. Our goal is a community built on trust, kindness, and a shared love of reading. Let's keep it that way.
We know it's far from perfect — and that's exactly why your input matters. If you run into any issues or have suggestions on how to make things better, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We'd love to hear from you and will do our best to keep improving.
